Dr Jose Maria Luna has been assistant professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Universidad de Córdoba since 2020. He has published 35 articles in international journals indexed in the ISI journal citation report (JCR), highlighting 17 publications in the first quartile, 10 of them are in the first decile. In addition, Dr Luna is the author of the monographic books «Pattern Mining with Evolutionary Algorithms», and «Supervised Descriptive Pattern Mining», both published by Springer. Among the most important journals in which he has published: IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Knowledge and Information Systems, Computers and Education, Integrated Computer Aided Engineering, Cognitive Computation
Most of his publications are focused on pattern mining, including association rules and subgroup discovery. In addition, the researcher is the author of numerous contributions in international and national conferences. Dr Luna has participated in the program committee of numerous international conferences, and as a reviewer in several international journals of considerable prestige. Last but not least, he has participated in six research projects obtained in public and competitive calls, three of them in collaboration with the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU / e).
